The beds were comfortable and the living space was wide. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a nice mixture of Japanese and Western options. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and convenience stores. The staff, although they didn't speak much English, were helpful and courteous. I recently stayed at a hotel in downtown Yamagata and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. the hotel was located just a 5-minute walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for me to explore the city. Secondly, the room itself was clean and modern, with comfortable beds that provided a great night's sleep. Additionally, I was impressed by the attention to detail from the hotel staff, who had prepared extra towels for my children without me even having to request them. Finally, the breakfast offered a diverse range of Japanese options, ensuring that there was something to suit everyone's tastes.
All was well during my stay.

Our romantic escape at this hotel was wonderful! the view from our room was breathtaking, with the mountains in the backdrop creating the perfect scenery for our getaway. the staff was helpful and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and comfortable during our stay. We also loved the abundance of local delicacies offered during the delicious buffet breakfast that was included in our package.
The slightly dingy and outdated decor in the lobby and room. this was easily overlooked by the amazing location close to the train station and convenient access to nearby restaurants and shops.

The hotel is conveniently located near the bus and train stations, making transportation quite easy. The staff are helpful and courteous, and the rooms are clean but somewhat small. The breakfast buffet is decent and features a mix of Japanese and Western dishes.
The bathrooms are noticeably cramped and potentially dangerous due to a raised step.

Had a great winter holiday stay in this hotel. The Christmas decoration was a nice touch! The hotel provided a cozy and warm atmosphere that complemented the cold weather outside. It is conveniently located near the train station and restaurants. The complimentary drinks and the comfortable sleeping robe were a fantastic bonus.
The walls were a bit thin and we could hear the footsteps next door. The bathroom was small and had a high step to get in which could be a bit dangerous.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
